Seed Stitch Mini-Washcloths

These mini-washcloths are so quick and fun to knit up. If you are learning to knit or are looking for a quick gratifying project, this is it.

Supplies for project

1 ball/skein Lily Sugar'n Cream (or any 100% cotton weight 4 yarn)

Size 6 needles

Tapestry needle

Scissors

*Gauge: Not important. Be freewheeling and just knit. (Typical size is 2" x 2")

Pattern Directions

Abbreviations: k = knit

p = purl

* = repeat inside parentheses

1. Cast On 12 stitches

2. Rows 1-4: knit all stitches

3. Row 5: k2, (k1, p1)*, knit last 2 stitches

4. Row 6: k2, (p1, k1)*, knit last 2 stitches

5. Repeat Rows 5 and 6, 4 more times (Rows 7-14)

6. Rows 15-18: knit all stitches, binding off on last row (Row 18.)

7. Weave in ends and enjoy!
